About Cleriontax
We are the branch of the Benavides firm dedicated to the taxation of investments and crypto assets: a small team that treats data with an engineer's rigour and tax with an adviser's judgement.
We are part of
Cleriontax was born inside the Benavides firm to handle what a general practice cannot cover in the depth it deserves: the taxation of investments and crypto assets.
That kind of taxation calls for a different way of working. Portfolios are spread across exchanges, wallets and protocols; a single person can rack up thousands of transactions a year; and many of the criteria are still being set by the tax authority. A spreadsheet and good intentions are not enough.
That's why we are a team of our own, backed by Benavides and dedicated to this alone.

Data and engineering
Handles the technical side: how each client's data is gathered, cleaned and reconciled until thousands of scattered transactions become a reconciled, traceable portfolio.
Makes sure that the data tells the whole story.
Tax
Handles the tax side: what is taxed and how, which criterion applies in each doubtful case, and how it is declared and defended before the Spanish Tax Agency.
Makes sure that every criterion can be defended.
